Responsibilities

• Support of residents.
• Follow individual support plans.
• Support service users with all aspects of their daily routines.
• Preparation of meals, laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
• Recording detailed notes and accurate records.
• To work as part of a team to provide quality care.
• Close interaction with families of service users and outside agencies.

Experience / Skills

• Right to work in the UK
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care. (Desirable)
• Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• A calm and balanced approach to challenging situations.
• Strong team player
• Confidence to work alone if required
• Strong communication skills
• Driving licence not essential - but would be helpful
