Responsibilities

• To carry out and oversee the packing, export wrapping, loading and unloading of goods relating to household/office removals.
• To supervise and ensure the overall safety of other crewmen.
• To take responsibility for and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and tidy and blankets are folded at the end of each day.
• To periodically wash vehicles and tidy up the warehouse and kitchen area.
• Check the vehicle for oil/water/fuel requirements and report any vehicle defects in line with the vehicle check and defect report book.
• Undertake long distance moves which require nights away from home where the journey necessitates.
• Other duties will include the delivery and collection of boxes.
• Ensure the move goes smoothly and without delay and avoidance of damage to customers goods.
• Ensure that all receipts are handed in at the end of each week and all paperwork relating to storage jobs are completed correctly and handed in at the end of each removal.
• Ensure the customer signs the removal waybill after each removal is complete.

Experience / Skills

• 1-year driving experience preferred
• Must have a clean UK drivers license
• Willing to have a DBS check
• Must be aged 25 years+ for insurance requirements
• Fluent in English
